Our fave matcha recipes — simple, yummy, and so BUJI.

  • Our all-time fave matcha latte. Trust us, you need the homemade vanilla syrup <3

    Vanilla Syrup:

    In a saucepan, combine 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water

    Bring to a boil and stir until the syrup turns clear

    Remove from heat and stir in 1 TBSP vanilla bean paste

    Let cool

    Matcha:

    Sift 1 tsp matcha into a bowl

    Whisk with 1/4 cup milk until smooth and frothy

    To Assemble:

    Fill your cup with ice

    Add 3 TBSP vanilla syrup

    Pour in 1/2 cup milk

    Top with matcha, stir + enjoy!

  • The blueberry flavor is subtle, but so good.

    Blueberry Syrup:

    In a saucepan, combine 6 oz blueberries, 1 cup water, and 1 cup sugar

    Add a squeeze of lemon

    Bring to a boil, then simmer until berries burst and mixture thickens

    Strain to remove solids and let syrup cool

    Blueberry Milk Base:

    Whisk 3 TBSP blueberry syrup with 3/4 cup milk until combined and lightly frothy

    Matcha:

    Sift 1 tsp matcha into a bowl

    Whisk with 1/4 cup milk until smooth and frothy

    To Assemble:

    Fill your cup with ice

    Pour in the blueberry milk

    Top with matcha, stir + enjoy!

  • Don't let the ginger beer scare you, this combo is *chefs kiss*!

    Ginger Beer Lemonade Base:

    Add 2 TBSP sugar to a cup

    Pour in 1/4 cup hot water

    Stir until fully dissolved

    Add 4 TBSP fresh-squeezed lemon juice

    Top with 3/4 cup ginger beer

    Matcha:

    Sift 1/2 tsp matcha into a bowl

    Whisk with 1/4 cup 160°F water until smooth and frothy

    To Assemble:

    Fill your cup with ice

    Pour in the lemonade ginger beer mix

    Top with matcha, stir + enjoy!

  • Just when you thought Thai Iced Tea couldn't get better...

    Thai Tea Syrup:

    Boil 4 cups water + 3/4 cup loose leaf Thai tea for 3–4 minutes

    Strain the tea

    Add strained tea, 2 cups sugar, and a squeeze of lemon

    Bring to a boil to make syrup

    Matcha:

    Sift 1 tsp matcha into a bowl

    Whisk with 1/4 cup 160°F water until smooth and frothy

    To Assemble:

    Fill your cup with ice

    Add 3 TBSP Thai tea syrup

    Pour in 1 cup oat milk

    Top with matcha, stir + enjoy!
